Recently, the Ministry of
transport and communications of Peru (MTC) has updated the type approval
requirements for mobile phones with cellular interface and other products. The
following is the main content of the new requirements.

<!--[endif]-->FCC / ised ID registration process through MTC
website will no longer be applicable to mobile phone products, and the
traditional paper-based MTC certification process must be used now.
<!--[if !supportLists]-->2. <!--[endif]--> The new type approval process requires GSMA TAC registration /
certification as well as the correct mobile phone brand and model. MTC
applications must include manuals or other documents with cellular broadcast
information (sismate).
3.The previously approved mobile
phone products are valid until April 5, 2020. MTC Peru will require new
approvals after April
5, 2020, including GSMA registration / certification and mobile broadcast
information.
