Brief introduction of application process
1. The importer/exporter shall submit a certification request to the local authorities, submit a complete application form for Certificate Form (RFC), which shall specify the goods and provide product conformity certificates such as test reports and quality certificates, and submit formal invoices and packing lists;
2. Determine the feasible implementation plan and applicable standards under the plan. If testing is required, our company coordinates sampling and implements laboratory testing.
3. Field inspection will be carried out after the above steps have been completed.
4. After the inspection, the exporter submits the final documents (commercial invoice and packing list) and issues Easy PASS customs clearance certificate.
Our Easy PASS in Ghana has three different ways to prove compliance in order to promote trade facilitation schemes and adjust the level of intervention according to risks:
Facilitate process
Route A: Any product, any trader
Route B registered products
Route C. Licensed Products
Product registration (Route B) and product licensing (Route C) are provided for regular import/export traders to Ghana. Documentation and systems to ensure compliance with Ghana's requirements will be pre-audited (including test reports, certificates, test results, inspections, factory audits, etc.).
Implementing facilitation process can reduce document review and/or pre-shipment cargo inspection, accelerate certificate issuance and random monitoring.
