United States UL certification process

　　1, the applicant fill in the UL certification pre-application form, the application form, product instructions and technical documents together fax or send to us.。

　　2. The technical documents to be provided by the applicant include:
    a, product instructions.

b, safety design document (including key structure drawing, that is, can reflect the climbing distance, clearance, insulation layer number and thickness of the design drawing)

c, product technical conditions (or enterprise standards).

d, product electrical schematic diagram.

e. Product circuit diagram.

f. List of key components or raw materials (please select products with UL certification mark).

g, machine or safety components/raw material certification copy.
　　h, Description/Related information - Specify the product name and its intended use, including model number, appropriate series description and list. If the same product of different models is applied at one time, the differences and similarities between the other models and the specified prototype should be detailed, which helps to reduce the test time and reduce the test cost.

  　3, according to the information provided by the applicant (in English) (if you need to apply for CUL mark at the same time, please indicate), UL will determine the corresponding test standards and make a quotation (excluding the cost of the first factory inspection).

4. If the applicant accepts the quotation, sign back the quotation.

5. UL issues formal Agreements.

6, carefully read and sign back the application form and tracking service agreement, and pay the test fee (US $) and test or agent fee (RMB) as required. Send/deliver samples to designated laboratory as required.

　　7, product inspection, if the product does not meet the requirements, UL certification body will notify the applicant, explain the non-conformity, the applicant needs to decide to change or send samples again.

8, we hope customers can buy UL standards, so that you can understand the requirements of the UL certification body.

9, after the product test is qualified, the UL certification body inspection department will visit the factory to determine whether the production meets the procedural requirements (IPI). If IPI is approved, the applicant can ship the products bearing the UL mark.

　　10, UL certification body inspection department will visit regularly to help your company's listed products continue to meet the safety requirements of UL certification. Need to pay: Factory inspection fee and certificate maintenance fee.

11, Note: Components/raw materials list - Please provide a list of safety components or materials used in your product, including the manufacturer's name, model specifications, or other ratings, and whether it is approved or listed by UL. We have provided a blank meta parts/raw materials list for your reference.
