Safety test
Service Project:
1. Assist
customers in the product design stage to eliminate safety hazards, such as
electrical gap, creepage distance, safety isolation, etc., evaluate structural
design and avoid mold modification losses
2, for the initial
stage of product certification electrical testing, structural assessment, and
provide audit reports.
3. Assist
customers to communicate with certification bodies, shorten certification cycle
and improve test efficiency
4. Assist
customers to deal with the problems arising from the factory review, and advise
customers on the related matters of the factory review.
5, assist
enterprises to conduct SAFETY personnel training/SAFETY regulations and
standards consulting.

Safety
test |
|
Test item |
Test specification |
Electrical strength test |
Determine whether
the internal insulation materials/components of the product, or the wiring
arrangement, can still play a good insulation effect under high pressure
conditions. |
Exception test |
Determine that the
product can still be safe under the conditions of abnormal use or failure of
some internal components (short circuit or open circuit). |
Vibration test |
Determine whether
the equipment parts have come loose after the durability treatment of sweep
vibration, endangering the safety of the parts or connections |
Temperature rise
test |
Determine whether
the temperature of the product meets the standard requirements under normal
use and abnormal use conditions (such as blocked ventilation holes), and
there is no risk of overheating, which will cause the risk of burning the
product. |
Ball pressure test |
Determine whether
thermoplastic parts used to support dangerous voltages in the product will soften
under prolonged abnormal heat, leading to danger. |
Adhesive aging
test |
Determine whether
a baffle or screen in a product that relies on an adhesive to hold it in
place will retain sufficient bonding properties over the life of the product.
These baffle plates or partitions are intended to meet standard opening
requirements or electrical insulation distance requirements. |
Contact current
test |
Determine whether
the leakage current of the product from the AC power grid or communication
network through certain lines to the user can contact the surface meets the
requirements of the standard. |
Mechanical
strength test |
In the process of
use, the simulation product can accidentally withstand external forces (such
as: the product does not fall on the hard ground, and an object
falls/presses/collides with the product surface) can still effectively play a
mechanical/electrical protection effect, and there will be no danger. |
Power cable seat
and tensile test |
Determine whether
the connection between the product and the power cord is reliable, mainly for
the non-separated power cord. |
Wall hanging test |
The simulation
product is mounted on the wall or ceiling to determine the reliability of its
installation |
Stability test |
The simulated
product is placed on an uneven interface, and the product does not flip over. |
High temperature
and humidity test |
In the future, the
simulation product will be in the harsh environment of high temperature and humidity,
whether the internal circuit design and the materials used are reliable and
will not occur insulation collapse. |
Power limit test |
Determine whether
the power supply is a Limited power source, which is used to determine
whether the powered part or product can be powered without a fireproof
housing. |
Operating voltage
test |
Test the working
voltage difference between the primary side and the secondary side when the
product is working normally, record the peak (Vpeak) and Vrms voltage. The
RMS voltage is used to determine the creepage distance and the peak voltage
is used to determine the clearance distance. |
Impedance to
protect the ground |
To verify that the
connection mode used to connect the protective ground in the product is
sufficient to pass high current without disconnection and hazard. |
Capacitance
discharge test |
It is determined
that when the product is powered off, the energy storage characteristics of
the capacitor should be considered, and there is still a danger between the
power input L/N |
Current limiting
circuit test |
Determine whether
some lines are current-limiting circuits. Current-limiting circuits are ones
that the human body can touch directly. |
SLEV Reliability test |
Determine whether
some lines are SELV lines, SELV lines are directly touched by the human body. |
Label durability
test |
In order to check
whether the label or screen printing on the product has a certain durability. |
