Introduction to cTUVus certification
cTUVus is the North American certification mark of TUV Rheinland. As long as
OSHA (U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration) is recognized as an
NRTL (U.S. National Recognized Testing Laboratory) testing and certification
organization, you can test and certify products entering the U.S. and Canadian
markets. TUV Rheinland North America has the same qualifications as other NRTL
organizations (e.g. UL, CSA) and can therefore help products successfully enter
the US and Canadian markets. That is, all NRTL marks (cTUVus, UL, CSA) are
equivalent.
The projects authorized by Rhine include: office equipment,
information technology, business machines, audio-visual equipment, home
appliances, laboratory equipment, medical equipment, test and measurement
equipment and control equipment.
