Certificate Application Order: CB Certificate + Energy Efficiency Certificate =IECEE Certificate

Since February 15, 2018, the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization began to enforce the new requirements of IECEE certification. The new regulations require traders to apply for and obtain the IECEE Certificate in advance in order to clear the goods smoothly in Saudi Customs, in addition to the product conformity certificate SC required for customs clearance.

SASO announces the following products of IECEE certification control scope: 

Saudi IECEE certification process:

1. Fill in the application;

2. Provide CB certificate (valid for 3 years, including Saudi deviation, 220V, 60Hz, standard plug) and CB test report;

3. Provide the manufacturer's compliance statement or endorsement for the product;

4. Fill in the Declaration of Commitment and Apply for IECEE

Information required for certification:

CB test report (valid within 3 years, including Saudi deviation: 220V, 60Hz, British standard plug) and its CB certificate, national difference test report, energy efficiency certificate and label, product photos, product size, manufacturer's declaration, manufacturer's production license, Saudi importer's business license

IECEE certification validity period: one year
